Gratitude for Lindy in the Park (2016)

Lindy in the Park is San Francisco’s long-running, FREE outdoor swing dance in Golden Gate Park and has brought joy to countless dancers from all over the world! The event will celebrate it’s 20th Anniversary on the weekend of August 20-21, 2016. We would like to honor the three main regular organizers of the event – Ken Watanabe, Naomi Walenta and Jen Holland – who volunteer their time every week and keep the event going, by presenting them with a meaningful thank you gift.

Deadline for contributions was Saturday, 8/20. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

Contributions will be pooled to purchase a thank you gift for the organizers. The actual gift will depend on the amount collected. You may suggest gift items by emailing thankyoulitp@swingornothing.com. Final gift decision will be made by Dave Madison, Nathan Dias & Niloufar Talebi, who are coordinating this collection.

Excess funds collected will be used to fund additional gifts for LitP co-founder Chad Kubo and/or other volunteer members of the Lindy in the Park Staff.
